Rating
What This Rating Means |
PERFORMING Moderately Effective
In general, a program rated Moderately Effective has set ambitious goals and is well-managed. Moderately Effective programs likely need to improve their efficiency or address other problems in the programs' design or management in order to achieve better results.
- General Services Administration (GSA) transportation activities are performed by multiple organizations within the agency. Coordination between transportation policy and operational activities has improved in the past year, but transportation operational activities continue to remain fragmented under the new Federal Acquisition Service.
- The program is effective in enabling Federal customers to realize significant savings through its service offerings and has developed long-term outcome goals that reflect the savings this program provides to customer agencies. The program also has annual efficiency goals that have continued to show improvement each year, although not all annual targets have been met.
- The transportation program has data on the overall program costs and benefits, but lacks data on the services and benefits it provides to specific customers.
