Rating

What This Rating Means

NOT PERFORMING
Results Not Demonstrated

A rating of Results Not Demonstrated (RND) indicates that a program has not been able to develop acceptable performance goals or collect data to determine whether it is performing.
  • The program's overall management is strong. For instance, it uses results from monthly progress reviews received from key partners to guide its decisions and work efforts.
  • The program is unable to measure its effectiveness in improving the health of Americans. There is no accountability mechanism for addressing the achievement of the Nation's health objectives.
  • The program's management plan does not reflect newer health promotion initatives. Such initiatives include those which encourage increased physical activity.

Improvement Plan

About Improvement Plans

We are taking the following actions to improve the performance of the program:

  • Demonstrating ambitiousness of performance measures which link performance accountability with health promotion.
  • Developing a new efficiency measure to demonstrate value for invested dollars.
  • Developing strategic framework with associated short and long term performance goals for each team within ODPHP.
