White House CEQ Asian Carp Director to Participate in Cleveland GLMRIS Public Meeting and Participate in Media Availability

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – White House Council on Environmental Quality Asian Carp Director John Goss will deliver  participate in  a  public scoping meeting on the Great Lakes and Mississippi River Interbasin Study (GLMRIS) hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers today, January 13, 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio.  He will discuss the Obama Administration’s proactive and collaborative approach to combating Asian carp including additional efforts under the 2011 Asian Carp Control Strategy Framework.  Goss will be available to the media from 1:15 pm to 1:45 pm.
