Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality to Travel to
San Jose, CA, to Visit Clean Energy Sector Facilities

SAN JOSE, CA – Nancy Sutley, Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, will travel to San Jose, CA on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 to meet with the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and business leaders from the region, tour clean energy sector facilities and discuss opportunities in the clean energy economy.  She will highlight some of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act investments and tax incentives that have been laying the foundation for the clean energy economy of the future and discuss the importance of passing comprehensive energy and climate legislation.  In her role as Chair, Sutley serves as the principal environmental policy adviser to the President.
