An important milestone for faith-based and neighborhood organizations was reached yesterday when the President signed an Executive Order making significant improvements to the partnerships between government and faith-based and neighborhood organizations. The improvements were recommended by the President’s Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. The Executive Order provides further clarity and support to faith-based and neighborhood partnerships in their critical work of serving people in need.
