Coming Up on The First Family Watches The Launch of Space Shuttle Endeavor

As the space shuttle program draws to a close after nearly 30 years of operations, the First Family will be at Kennedy Space Station to watch the launch of Endeavor today. President Obama will become only the second President to attend a shuttle launch, following President Clinton who watched John Glenn on Discovery in 1998. Be sure to check in at at 3:30 PM ET to join them for the launch.

Before the launch, you can watch NASA's HD live stream to see the astronauts and ground crew make preparations for Endeavor's final mission. Commanding the crew is Captain Mark Kelly, the husband of U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords. Congresswoman Giffords will also be in attendance, her first public appearance since being shot in January.
