We mark the National Day of Service and Remembrance, with a look back at the First Family, sometimes joined by White House guests, serving others.
Today, we honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001 and commemorate them with a national day of service and remembrance. This day is an opportunity for everyone, no matter who you are, to serve others. We've put together some videos from our archives that feature the First Family, the Vice President and Dr. Biden, as well as some of our White House guests, participating in service projects.
