Unemployment insurance is a vital lifeline for folks still looking for a job -- it helps them pay the bills while they try to find real work, and helps folks provide for their families. But because Congress failed to act, more than 1.3 million Americans had unemployment insurance taken away at the end of 2013.
Today at 2 p.m. ET, Cecilia Muñoz -- Assistant to the President, and Director of the Domestic Policy Council -- is hosting a conference call and answering questions on extending this emergency lifeline.
