In 2014, American families look very different than before. In 63% of families with children, all parents work, and 32% of families with children are single-parent households. And yet, most moms and dads don't have access to paid leave or flexible workplaces. On average, women still earn just 77 cents for every dollar a man earns doing the same work.
That’s why President Obama’s fighting for workplace policies that would give all workers the best chance to succeed at work and at home. On June 23rd, the White House will host a Working Families Summit to focus on creating a 21st century workplace that works for all Americans.
