This week, the President met with one of our oldest European allies, held a Q&A with 75 young Southeast Asian leaders, awarded two medals of honor posthumously, and welcomed the World Series champion San Francisco Giants to the White House. That’s May 29th to June 4th or, “Two Rules.”

  • The President answered some questions from Ilana Dayan of Israel's Channel 2.

Monday, June 1st

  • The President awarded two posthumous Medals of Honor, one to African-American Army Private Henry Johnson, and one to Jewish Army Sergeant William Shemin.

Wednesday, June 3rd

  • The President sat down for an interview with Kai Ryssdal from NPR’s Marketplace.
  • The President also answered questions from five television reporters -- from Dallas, El Paso, San Diego, Seattle, and Sacramento. 
  • Press Secretary Josh Earnest held a briefing (of sorts) with a group of high school students from New Jersey.
