Join the Conversation with the President at North Carolina A&T State University

Summary:
Terrence J writes about how you can participate in the President's upcoming conversation at North Carolina A&T State University.

I could not be more excited to write to you to make sure you know President Obama will be at my illustrious alma mater next week -- North Carolina A&T State University! Aggie Pride!

On Tuesday, October 11th, the President will participate in a town hall hosted by ESPN's "The Undefeated" to discuss his leadership on the issues affecting young African Americans, the progress on his groundbreaking My Brother’s Keeper initiative, and the critical role and proud legacy of HBCUs in promoting educational excellence for generations of African Americans.

This conversation between the President, A&T students, and concerned youth and community leaders from across the country is one you will not want to miss. That’s why we’re calling on everyone -- whether you’re an HBCU student or alum, social activist or a concerned and engaged citizen – to tune in, spread the word, host watch parties, or engage in the conversation online.

The town hall will air on ESPN on Tuesday, October 11th at 10:00 PM EST. This is a great opportunity to come together to celebrate the progress made over the past eight years, to reflect on the work that remains and how we will continue to take action together, and to listen to our President address the issues impacting your life, community, or campus.

Here is how you can leverage this moment and join the conversation:

I'm super excited to have President Obama visit A&T next week for a candid conversation on the issues young people care about most, while shining a bright spotlight on how HBCUs transform lives, like mine. Do your part to make this unprecedented moment one that no one misses!
