Continuing to show his reverence to the math and sciences, the President recently met with the astronauts from Apollo 11, as well as the 2009 Raytheon MathCounts National Champions to honor their accomplishments. MathCounts is a nationwide math competition for middle school students. The kids not only got to meet the President, but they also got to meet the heroic Apollo 11 astronauts.
