Alexander currently serves as Special Assistant to Michael Strautmanis, Deputy Assistant to the President and Counselor for Strategic Engagement to the Senior Advisor. Previously, Alex was an intern in the Office of Public Engagement working closely with Greg Nelson on energy, environment and tech outreach before moving to Goldman Sachs as an analyst in their government affairs division. Alex is a proud New York City native and graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009.
