Dave Augustine, Bob Burbach, and Andrew Carpenter are three developers that have taken the Federal Register, the daily newspaper of the U.S. Government originally created in 1935 that compiles new and proposed policies, regulations and public meeting notices, and created Fed Register v 2.0. This trio has created a new approach: taking very dense, but very important information and making it more user-friendly. Federal Register v. 2.0 presents data in an online fashion that encourages public participation and awareness. Key features of the site includes: articles, news sections, agency pages, calendar of events, summary and key information sidebar, linked legal references and more.
