Carren Poff, a former Site Council chair and current English Department chair for Ontario High School, began her teaching career at Ontario High School in 2008. She has taught English, writing, senior reading, language, and freshmen success courses at Ontario. She has fostered and directed growth targeted toward all students. As a result, student belief in personal power has skyrocketed—as have test scores.
