Dave Augustine, Bob Burbach and Andrew Carpenter are three developers that have taken the Federal Register -- the daily newspaper of the U.S. Government originally created in 1935 that: compiles new and proposed policies, regulations and public meeting notices -- and created Fed Register v 2.0. This trio has created a new approach: taking very dense, but very important information and making it more user-friendly. Federal Register v. 2.0 presents data in an online fashion that encourages public participation and awareness. Key features of the site includes: articles, news sections, agency pages, calendar of events, summary and key information sidebar, linked legal references and more.
