David was formerly the Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff for the Office of Public Engagement and the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, where he served as the primary liaison to athletes, teams, and leagues. Prior to joining the White House, David served on The President’s Hurricane Sandy Rebuilding Task Force and worked for the 2012 Obama-Biden campaign in Chicago. A native Hoosier and graduate of DePauw University, David got his start with the President in early 2008 as a volunteer for then Senator Obama’s campaign in Iowa.
