Chief of Staff for the Council of Economic Advisers
David Vandivier became Chief of Staff of the Council of Economic Advisers in October 2011. Before joining the Council he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Tax and Budget in the Office of Legislative Affairs at the US Treasury Department. Vandivier has previously worked on the US Senate Budget Committee, the Office of Management and Budget and two previous positions at the Treasury Department. Vandivier has an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and a B.A. from Franklin College of Indiana.

Chairman Krueger told the gathering: "Restoring a greater degree of fairness to the U.S. job market would be good for businesses, good for the economy, and good for the country."
