Jan Blittersdorf is President and CEO of NRG Systems, which provides wind and solar measurement and turbine control equipment to electric utilities, wind farm developers, turbine manufacturers, and research institutes. During her tenure, she has doubled the size of the company’s workforce and extended its reach to 150 countries. NRG Systems was also named a top small workplace by the Wall Street Journal in 2007; has consistently been recognized by Best Places to Work in Vermont; and received LEED-gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its state-of-the-art green manufacturing facilities. Blittersdorf serves on the board of directors for the American Wind Energy Association, as Chair of the American Wind Wildlife Institute, and on the board for the Institute for Sustainable Communities.
