Meagan Gardner

Former Associate Director of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs
Meagan Gardner served as an Associate Director in the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, working primarily with state legislatures. Before joining the White House, Meagan served as the Special Advisor in the Office of Field Operations at the U.S. Small Business Administration where she worked as the liaison to the field staff around the country. Prior to joining the Obama Administration, Meagan worked on President Obama’s re-election campaign as the Northeast Regional Field Director in the Chicago Headquarters and then as the Iowa Field Director where she helped lead early voting, voter registration, and get-out-the-vote efforts. Before joining the Obama-Biden 2012 campaign, Meagan was the National Regional Director for the Midwest as well as the West Virginia State Director for Organizing for America, and also worked in the field around the country during the historic 2008 campaign. She originally hails from Rio Rancho, New Mexico and is a proud graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
