Ryan Robinson serves as Associate Director of Public Engagement working on veterans and military affairs. Before joining the White House, Ryan most recently served as a Special Assistant at the U.S. Department of Energy, working in support of Secretary Ernest Moniz. Ryan was a White House Intern in the Office of the First Lady in 2013, where he was a part of the Joining Forces Initiative. A veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Ryan enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2001 and spent five years in service before leaving active duty in 2006. After his military service, Ryan earned his B.A from Columbia University.
