Dr. Robert Templin

President, Northern Virginia Community College

Dr. Robert Templin joined Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) as president a decade ago out of a passion to improve the economic competitiveness of the Washington DC region and to create higher education opportunities for low-income, minority, and immigrant communities.  Under his leadership, NOVA has increased its annual enrollment by 17,000 students and, working with Northern Virginia employers, has provided the region’s economy with tens of thousands of highly-skilled, tech savvy front-line workers.
