Diagnosed with HIV at 21, while a student at the University of Houston, Ms. Gray started her career as a juvenile health educator at AIDS Foundation Houston. For the past 20 years, Ms. Gray has conducted hundreds of presentations, locally and nationally, on HIV education, care, housing and prevention. In addition to serving on the Ryan White Planning Council and the American Psychological Association’s Committee on Psychology and AIDS, Ms. Gray has also published essays in HIV journals and other publications. Today, Ms. Gray serves as the HIV Prevention Program Manager for the City of Houston, HIV/STD, Viral Hepatitis and Re-Entry Program. Ms. Gray is a native Houstonian and has a teenage daughter.
