Byron is the director of Workforce Works, an organization that trains and develops the next generation of “green” builders in the New Orleans, specifically in the Lower 9th Ward region. The program offers participants an increasingly marketable skill set and creates highly desirable jobs in lower-income communities. Workforce Works recruits and educates a local workforce from the local community.
