David “Hank” Rogers, Biloxi, Mississippi

Major Rogers , a member of the Berta Edge Composite Squadron of the Mississippi Wing of the Civil Air Patrol(CAP) has provided exceptional service to the state through his dedicated service during the Deepwater Horizon – BP oil spill clean-up, as well as contributing to the overall success of the CAP missions for the state. Major Rogers volunteered one full week at the Command Center in Mobile in support of the federal mission and from 2 to 10 hours a day during the remainder of the four month period. He has been a member now for over eight years. Major Rogers has truly become one of Civil Air Patrol’s most successful and respected leaders.
