• The President’s proposal makes substantial investments to improve the quality of care and support cutting-edge research so that doctors and patients  always benefit from the world’s most advanced medical system.  There will be strong incentives for hospitals to reduce harmful and avoidable readmissions, cut down on healthcare acquired infections and medical errors.  The plan will create incentives for doctors to work together to coordinate and improve care.
