White House Tribal Youth Gathering

On Thursday, July 9, 2015, the White House will host the first-ever White House Tribal Youth Gathering in Washington, DC, to provide American Indian and Alaska Native youth from across the country the opportunity to interact directly with senior Administration officials and the White House Council on Native American Affairs.

Media Pre-Set: 3:30 AM – 4:00 AM
                          * All video cameras and large equipment must be pre-set.
                          * Media will not have access to their equipment from 4:00 – 6:30 AM

Doors open for media: 7:00 AM
Final call for press interested in opening remarks: 8:45 AM
Final call for press interested in FLOTUS remarks: 10:30 AM
                           * There will be no media access after 10:30 AM.

Throw:               50 feet

Live Truck Information: Trucks should park at the meters at 8th and I Street. All parking is at the truck operator’s own risk. Trucks should RSVP with truck information and park by 4:00 AM. Live truck operators must bring cable ramps.

Other:               A media workspace is available.
