President Urges Congress to Approve Funds to Help Counter Flu

Washington, D.C – In an abundance of caution, President Barack Obama has written to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., urging quick Congressional consideration of $1.5 billion for H1N1 flu preparedness and response initiatives.
