White House Kitchen Garden Tours

Learn how your school or community group can apply for a tour of the White House Kitchen Garden.

Throughout the Administration, tours of the White House Kitchen Garden were available to school and community groups with an interest in gardening and healthy eating. Tours consisted of a guided tour of the White House Kitchen Garden and beehive on the South Lawn, and depending on the public tour schedule, sometimes included a visit inside the White House. Guests were also able to see the White House Kitchen Garden during the annual spring and fall White House Garden Tours that were open to the public.

Since 2009 when the garden was planted, over 335,000 people had the chance to see the White House Kitchen Garden up close. Even if someone didn’t have a chance to see the garden from inside the White House grounds, because of the location of the garden, it can even been seen from outside the grounds along the south fence.
