Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden visit Finland, Russia and Moldova

Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden traveled to Finland, Russia, and Moldova last week. In each country, the Vice President met with key leaders to discuss a full range of bilateral, regional, and international issues. In Helsinki, the Vice President consulted with our Finnish partners on our shared regional and global priorities. In Moscow, he worked to build on the “reset” in U.S.-Russian relations, and focused on ways to further the prosperity of our two countries. Finally, in Chisinau, he met with leaders to signal our support for ongoing democratic and economic reforms and for Moldova's aspirations for European integration.
