Archbishop Desmond Tutu is interviewed in August 2009 at the White House, where he was receiving the 2009 Presidential Medal of Freedom. Archbishop Tutu played a pivotal role in South Africa's struggle against apartheid and is an extraordinary example of the path to forgiveness and reconciliation in the new South Africa.
