President Obama Announces Humanity United Partnership for Freedom

In remarks at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting on September 25, 2012, President Obama called human trafficking a debasement of our common humanity that tears at the social fabric of our communities, distorts markets, endangers public health, and fuels violence and organized crime. President Obama also announced the Humanity United Partnership for Freedom, a collaboration between Humanity United and the federal government aimed at challenging local communities to find new ways to care for trafficking victims.
