Economic Consequences of the Criminal Justice System

On Monday, April 25, the White House will host an event with the Brennan Center for Justice and the American Enterprise Institute to discuss the costs and benefits of the criminal justice system and the impact of incarceration on the economy. The event will bring together Senior Administration Officials, scholars, journalists, business leaders, and economists to highlight a forthcoming report by the Council of Economic Advisers on the economic consequences of the criminal justice system.
