Math and the Movies

OSTP is hosting a panel discussion with actors and mathematicians before screening the film The Man Who Knew Infinity. The panel discussion includes one of the film’s stars, Jeremy Irons; the U.S. Chief Data Scientist, DJ Patil; Andrea Hariston, an applied research mathematician at the National Security Agency (NSA); and Ken Ono, math advisor to the film, Professor of mathematics at Emory, and founder of the Ramanujan Initiative.
