Readout of Vice President Biden’s Meeting With His Majesty King Abdullah II

Vice President Joe Biden hosted His Majesty King Abdullah II for breakfast at the Naval Observatory earlier today.  The two leaders consulted on a range of regional issues, including our joint efforts to degrade and destroy ISIL.  The Vice President reaffirmed the United States’ unwavering commitment to Jordan’s security and stability and thanked the King for his strong leadership in the region.
