Statement by the Press Secretary on S. 1890
On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, the President signed into law:
S. 1890, the "Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016," which amends the Economic Espionage Act to allow private parties to seek civil remedies in Federal court for trade secret misappropriation.
