Readout of Vice President Biden’s Call With President Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia

Vice President Joe Biden spoke by phone yesterday with President Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia.  The Vice President congratulated President Santos on reaching a revised peace accord between the Colombian government and the FARC.  The two leaders discussed the importance of maintaining strong bipartisan support for Colombia in the United States Congress.  Both leaders underscored their commitment to supporting a successful peace process in Colombia.
