Vice President Biden to Travel to New York to Highlight Progress of the Recovery Act

Washington, D.C. – On Thursday, July 9, Vice President Biden will travel to Saratoga County, NY, where he will highlight the progress of the Recovery Act at Shenendehowa High School.  The Vice President will discuss how the Recovery Act is building a 21st-century economy in Saratoga County and across the nation.  The Vice President will be joined at this event by New York Governor David A. Paterson and Congressman Scott Murphy.
A limited number of general public tickets for the Vice President’s event in Saratoga County are available on a first-come, first-served basis on Wednesday, July 8 from 12:00 PM EDT - 1:00 PM EDT at Shenendehowa High School East in the main lobby area. Any remaining tickets will be distributed from 5:00 PM EDT - 7:00 PM EDT from the same location.
This event is OPEN PRESS ,but media must RSVP to press@ovp.eop.gov by Wednesday, July 8, at 5:00 PM EDT.
