to deliver speeches in Washington, DC on Thursday morning
On Thursday, August 6th, Council of Economic Advisers Chair Christina Romer and Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism John Brennan will deliver speeches in Washington, DC. At 8:00AM EDT, Romer will deliver remarks at the Economic Club of Washington, DC. Dr. Romer will assess the impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act on the economy and what we can expect going forward.
At 11:00AM EDT at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Brennan will provide an overview of the President's comprehensive approach to protecting the American people from terrorism: defeating the near-term threat from al Qaeda and other transnational terrorist groups and addressing the political, economic, and social factors that often fuel violent extremism.
