Conference Call to Discuss Vice President Biden’s Upcoming Trip to Ukraine and Georgia
Washington, DC – Vice President Biden will be traveling next week to Ukraine and Georgia. During the visit, the Vice President will meet with the political leadership of each country, as well as opposition figures and civil society representatives. The Vice President will demonstrate U.S. support for continued democratic and economic reforms and discuss issues of mutual interest in both countries. National Security Advisor to the Vice President, Tony Blinken, will hold a conference call with journalists on FRIDAY, July 17th at 3:00 PM EDT to discuss the purpose and significance of the trip.
