Dr. Christina Romer, Chair of the President's Council of Economic Advisers, To Hold Conference Call to Discuss Release of Latest Report to Congress on Impact of Recovery Act

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Wednesday, July 14th at 12:00pm ET, Dr. Christina Romer, Chair of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers (CEA), will hold a conference call with media to discuss today’s release of the latest quarterly report to Congress on the impact of the Recovery Act on the economy.  Dr. Romer will release the report earlier in the day at an event with Vice President Biden.  CEA presents a report to Congress each quarter detailing the effects of the Recovery Act on the overall economy, including an assessment of jobs saved and created, among other economic factors.
