Below is a statement from White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs:
The President met with his economic team again this morning to discuss the week’s developments on the Economic Recovery and Reinvestment plan and proposals going forward including the budget. Participants in the meeting included Larry Summers, Director of the Economic Policy Council; Peter Orszag, Director of the Office of Management and Budget; Jared Bernstein, Chief Economic Advisor to Vice President Joe Biden; Rahm Emanuel, White House Chief of Staff and David Axelrod, Senior Advisor to the President.
