Week 16: Technology

President Obama is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. Part of President Obama’s Open Government Initiative is to improve access to Federal data and expand creative use of data beyond the walls of government by encouraging innovative ideas from the public. These Champions of Change are individuals, groups or companies who are causing a data revolution by developing applications using open government data to create unique benefits to our citizens and communities. These applications vary widely in scope, from navigating complicated zoning ordinances to informing parents of child-friendly destinations to helping asthma patients track the use of their medication. Join us in honoring these Champions.
