The Obama-Biden administration consists of thousands of individuals in a variety of departments working to advance the President's agenda at home and abroad. The President's Cabinet serves as a board of the highest level expert advisors on matters ranging from transportation to homeland security. There are 15 Cabinet members in total, and additionally, there are 6 positions which have the status of Cabinet-rank.

The Executive Office of the President, which is overseen by the White House Chief of Staff, plays a critical role in assisting the President's work. The EOP consists of 13 entities, including the Council of Economic Advisers, and the Office of Management and Budget.
