2016 Holiday Volunteer Form

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to decorate the White House this Holiday Season. We appreciate your enthusiasm to volunteer during such a special time of the year. Please keep in mind that a very limited number of volunteers are chosen each year. Applications will be considered from April 1, 2016 through August 1, 2016 and volunteers will be contacted in the fall.

Please note that volunteers will not receive any compensation for volunteer services and will not be considered federal employees for any purpose other than tort claims and injury compensation. Please also be advised that serving as a volunteer may require a reference check, background investigation, and/or criminal history inquiry in order to provide volunteer services.

Volunteers who are chosen to help decorate should plan on being in Washington, DC, from November 24, 2016 to November 30, 2016. Selected volunteers will receive an email confirmation from the White House Social Office. Please be sure to include a valid phone number and email address with your application. Once you have completed the form, no further follow-up is necessary.
