Building Welcoming Communities Survey

Thank you very much for your continued efforts in building a welcoming community. As the Building Welcoming Communities Campaign comes to an end, we are following up with key partners on lessons learned and what connections we might still be able to make before the campaign comes to an end. As a city that hosted a regional convening and continues to serve as a model for immigrant integration work, we hope that you will assist us in our efforts to glean lessons learned by responding to this survey.

Were any new federal partnerships established as a result of the October 2015 Building Welcoming Communities Convening, the 2016 White House Regional Convening on New Americans, the June 2016 Bright Spots Celebratory Event, or other events?

Could any relationships be nurtured with additional follow-up by the Administration?

Could you describe a past or ongoing federal partnership and the keys to success for those collaborations?

We are looking to aggregate best practices as it relates to federal agencies working with municipalities as well as to propose future partnerships to advance local work.

Is there an area of work where establishing a federal partnership could be advantageous to reaching your goals and if so, what would that partnership look like?

Are there any federal agency introductions you would still like us to make and if so with who and why (the why to be used in any introductory emails)?

How else did the BWCC help accelerate and/or support your work (learning via technical assistance clusters, media hits, new allies, increased support internally, etc.)?
