White House Forum for Philanthropic Innovations - July 25
The Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation in coordination with the Office of Public Engagement invite you to the White House on Wednesday, July 25th. We will be convening to discuss the critical role of philanthropy in expanding opportunity, driving recovery and strengthening community.
Senior Administration officials as well as leaders from philanthropic organizations and academic institutions from around the country will come together for this event. The day will highlight case studies of philanthropic innovation such as new models of partnerships and creative funding strategies that can serve as examples for driving change in challenging times. A series of dynamic talks, moderated discussions and breakout workshops will explore how philanthropic organizations are identifying and supporting new and entrepreneurial models to bolster our economy and enrich our society, often while serving our most vulnerable communities.
This session is part of this summer’s Social Enterprise and Opportunity Series – a new set of conversations we are hosting to explore stories of social innovation on the ground across the country. We seek to learn from pioneers who are driving impact and explore new ways federal policymaking can support their endeavors.
Due to high demand and limited space, we will only be able to accept the first 150 reservations. We will follow up with more information on July 25th.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email SocialEnterprise@who.eop.gov.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
