Your response to President Obama's proposal to cut through the red tape that is preventing many homeowners from refinancing their mortgages and saving hundreds of dollars each month has been overwhelming.

More than 43,000 of you spoke up, telling us about whether you would benefit from this proposal, what you thought was most compelling about the plan, and sharing your questions for the President's team. 

Recently, Jim Parrott, Senior Advisor for Housing at the National Economic Council, joined a conference call with people around the country who responded to our call for feedback to answer their questions about the President’s plan (including about HARP, the Home Affordable Refinance Program).
