Erin Hannigan manages the White House Champions of Change program. Prior to joining the White House, Hannigan worked at the United States Department of Agriculture as the Deputy Director of External and Intergovernmental Affairs as well as a Staff Assistant in the Office of Congressional Relations. Before joining USDA, Hannigan worked on the Presidential Inaugural Committee and the Obama for America campaign where she worked in six states, including Iowa. Raised in Orland Park, Illinois, Hannigan is a graduate from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.
