Kaplan coordinated the activities of the White House Council on Women and Girls and oversees the Administration’s outreach to women and girls across the country. She was previously the Obama for America Finance Director for the Tri-State area. She also worked in a fundraising capacity for the President’s Senate campaign and Hopefund PAC. Kaplan is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she majored in Business.
